Merry Christmas to All!
Hello! Thank you for an amazing time today at our Holiday Party. We had so many fabulous helpers and projects to do. I am extreemly appreciative of all of you for your support, encouragement, and participation with all the children in our class. Thank you for the great gifts! Since I have come home from school I have been wearing my new cozy hat, in my favorite color! I already have an idea for using the Nordstrom gift card. The pomegranate jam is going to accompany my gluten free pancakes over break.
Sweet Zoe will be attending a new school beginning the New Year. We will miss her and her family. She said, “I will come and visit”.

Letters to Santa
We have been talking about Santa and the things that we are wishing for at Christmastime. Please help your child to create a letter to Santa. The Macys company has a program where each letter sent into Macys will donate $1.00 to The Make a Wish Foundation. Updates
Dear Families,
Below are a few updates and reminders.
- Please add any photos from field trips and parties that you may have to our shutterfly site.
- Report cards will be coming home later this week. Please help your child get to school on time and well rested since I will be testing them on what they have learned this trimester.
- The project for our Adopt-a-Family items are due this week. Please view the letter that was sent home for details.
Miss Scharbarth will be out until after the holidays. Thank you for supporting our class and community during this difficult time. I will update you on any information and ways that you may want to participate in helping her and her family out if you are interested.

Back to School Night
Please join me at Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 24th at 6:00 pm. There will be a presentation in the Multi-Purpose Room at 5:30 for spanish speaking families. At 6:00 in our classroom (Room 101) we will have a discussion, sign ups for volunteering opportunities, and a few other items. You will also be able to view your child’s class and ask any questions that you might have.
This evening is for adults only.
